REFUND POLICY

REFUNDS, WARRANTY AND RETURNS

WARRANTY: 

Products: All products on this website carry a warranty unless specified. IF you are curious what the warranty period is for a product you wish to buy or have purchased, please email us on sales@offroadplanet.kiwi and we will advise.

Customers are required to report to us any defective product up to 7 days from date of Invoice.

Customers are required to ship the product back for any claims of warranty (at customer’s cost).

We will inspect all returned products and in the unusual case of a defective product, we will approve the warranty claim. If the product is found to be defective due to improper installation or misuse, the warranty will be declined.

The buyer shall ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the purpose for which they are required and the seller accepts no liability if they are not. We are willing to answer any questions you may have before you purchase.

The seller shall not be liable for consequential, indirect or special damages or loss of profits under any circumstances.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, negligent, inappropriate or improper operation, maintenance, installation, modification, adjustment, failure to follow important safety directions, or any attempt to repair the product.

If there is any dispute, we will handle the situation fairly. We will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

 


RETURNS:

Any returns must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date.  Returned goods must be sent back in their original packaging, and be in “as new” condition, unopened packaging.  Please ensure that you send your return back to us appropriately.  If there is any damage to or marks on the product (or its original packaging) when your return is assessed, we will not provide a credit or refund.

If you wish to return a product due to changes of mind, took too long to deliver (refer shipping policy) this is not covered in any circumstances. Note, this is in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.  

If you choose the incorrect product for your vehicle we will not accept returns due to your incompetence.  If you are in doubt, please ask - and if the item doesn’t look right / doesn’t look like it’ll fit when it arrives, do not try to jam it in.  Contact us first.  We will not provide any form of credit or refund for damaged goods.

We do not cover your return freight in any circumstances.  We do cover the freight on any repaired or replacement goods sent back to your address (within New Zealand only).

We reserve the right to provide store credit on returns.  At our discretion any approved refunds processed will be issued via your original payment method - e.g. credit card, Afterpay, PayPal and so on.  We will not provide debit or cash refunds unless this was how you paid in the first place.  

In the situation where a return for credit is approved this will be subject to a 20% administrative fee.
